First-rate food
The culinary team at Latrobe Country Club is the finest in the area. You’ll find a variety of comfort foods and club classics on the menu - including original recipes directed by Mr. and Mrs. Palmer themselves. Of course, no meal is complete without an Arnold Palmer (Tea).
Many of life’s best moments are spent around a table, whether it’s for the evening meal with family or for a celebration with a room full of friends. And just as intimate dinners are about building relationships with one another, so are bountiful feasts about celebrating relationships with our community. At Latrobe Country Club we celebrate occasions of all sizes, from romantic dinners for two all the way to large-scale weddings and holiday gatherings that fill the club.
In every case, our tables bring the community together—in more ways than you might expect. It starts in the kitchen, with meats and produce sourced from local vendors whenever possible. Chef Joshua Leap and many of the staff who prepare and serve the meals live in the area and support local businesses. They work hard to ensure that everyone dining at Latrobe Country Club has a fantastic time.
And finally, the diners themselves, our members and guests and the families and businesses they represent, support all aspects of the club—and they support each other. Spending best moments with friends, being there for each other in all seasons, watching fireworks in summer, ringing in the holidays and toasting the new years, feasting and sharing and celebrating life, that’s what Latrobe Country Club is all about.
Beyond the celebrations and the great food, we have some of the area’s finest golf, tennis, a great pool and other amenities, enhanced by recent and ongoing improvements to both facilities and programming. Enjoying it all are our members, a wonderful group of people with diverse interests, all dedicated to supporting and improving their community together. And when the day is done and our community comes together around a table at Latrobe Country Club, the whole community is there with them, from the farms beyond the kitchen to the guests in the dining room. Good times, good people, and good food. If this sounds good to you—then join the club. You belong here.
The Club Room is located upstairs in the Clubhouse and is Latrobe Country Club’s primary dining room for daily lunches and dinner. The predominantly American menu features many of Mr. Palmer’s favorites, such as crab cakes and Palmer mashed potatoes (mashed potatoes with horseradish and scallions) as well as some unique selections like venison and duck.
Besides the enticing items listed on the menu, there is something else uniquely “Palmer” about the Club Room. The room abounds with Palmer memorabilia — hundreds of cherished photos of Arnold Palmer with his friends and family adorn the walls. You’ll discover Arnold surrounded by the likes of a number of American Presidents and dignitaries, entertainers and musicians. It’s truly a spectacle to behold.
In addition to the Club Room, the upstairs also offers dining in the Garden Room and Tee Off Rooms for special events. The Garden Room overlooks the Pro Shop and seats up to 60 guests. The Tee Off rooms open up to a scenic terrace overlooking the 18th hole of the golf course. During the summer and fall seasons, the view is especially breathtaking. For privacy, this area can be broken down into smaller rooms and seats up to 70 guests.
The Palmer Grille is the focal point of the club’s first floor. Wood paneling and a large fireplace provide a comfortable classic environment. Mr. Palmer spent much of his time here, and a small plaque adorns on his favorite chair near the entrance to the men’s locker room.
The area functions primarily as a sports bar for after-golf entertainment. It’s the perfect setting to enjoy a friendly card game with a favorite cold beverage. During the winter holiday season, this cozy, private room can also be booked for private parties.
